1953       Born the 5th of June 1953, Dundee, Scotland
1968-74  Trained as commercial artist, creating and realizing displays for a large Department Store
1975-79  Gained qualifications for university entry, Dundee College of Commerce, Scotland
1978-81  Obtained M.A. in Fine Arts and History, St. Andrew’s University, Edinburgh, Scotland
1981-82  Obtained P.G.C.E. (Post Graduate Certificatein Education), Dundee, Scotland
1982-83  Teaching English to 12-19 year olds in the Sudan (Wad Medani, South of Khartoum)
1983-85  Teaching at Buckhaven High School, Buckhaven, Scotland
1985-89  Teaching at Tynecastle High School, Edinburgh, Scotland Part-time and supply teaching for 11 other schools
1989-91  Painting full-time Individual shows in Edinburgh and several exhibitions sponsored by a computer company
1991-98  Moved to St.Paul de Vence, France Intense studies, experimenting with new medias 
               Several Private and Group exhibitions,  Edinburgh, Scotland Private commission in Boston, USA ( 3 months )
2001       XXXV Prix Internationale d’Art Contemporain de Monte Carlo
2002      “Bottles and Battles” Solo Exhibition, Mulan Arts, Taipei, Taiwan
